Does anyone out there cast the old Lyman 452423, the 238 gn swc slug for the 45 Auto Rim or have a mould for that bullet they would part with????  Thanks.  Mikey.

I have that mould. I'm not wanting to sell it however.  Are you wanting some bullets to try.    Mark

Mikey i think Frank at Mt. Baldy bullets casts that one. If im not mistaken he gave me 500 to try a couple years ago. If memory serves me they didnt fly at long range very well. So i blasted them up

Lloyd:  I had a handful once that I loaded up but can't recall how they really shot, groupwise.  When you say they didn't fly at long range well, whatcha mean??  Keyholes, flyers, shotgun patterns????  Do you recall the load you used with those??????  I always appreciate your help.

Orygun Mark - thank you for offering.  I'll send you a pm.  Mikey.

Lloyd:  Thank you for the feedback.  I intend to use these for general shooting and plinking out to about 50 yds.  If they shoot well enough I will carry them.  The only thing better than 45 ball is a 45 with a flat metplate and even at standard pressure 45 acp loads they should make a decent field load.  Thanks again.  Mikey.
