Well I didn't know how this weekends' match was going to go but I went with my walkers. Then it started to drizzel, then rain, then it got cold, then it rained and blowed most of the day. Other than having to hit one cap twice and one cap that wouldn't go off(replaced it on the clock and it fired) didn't have a single missfire. People thought I was crazy to shoot cap and ball in the rain, but I got under umbrellas or in the building to load and cap and keep the guns under my drover untill ready to load or shoot and used real black powder. Did have a leaver drop a couple of times but the cause was the leaver screw backing out, tightend it up and had no more trouble. Well worth cleaning soaking wet guns!
