Last year at a Friends of the NRA banquet I won the Gun of the Year which was a Kimber Eclipse 1911.
Last week I took a CCW course and had to shoot the qualification course. I had only ran a couple of magazines through the Kimber and never shot it with any magazine other than the one which came with it. I took 3 Colt, 1 Kimber and 2 military magazines with me.
The gun shot the 10 ring right our of the target. :grin: Only dropped 4 points out of the 300. I had one partial failure to feed which I merely hit the back of the slide and carried on. I was very happy with the Kimber :grin:
