Any comments on the above? Local dealer has them on sale through the end of Dec. for $600. Only have SA's and Ruger in .45. Mostly heard good things about all the Kimbers, but have no experience at all. Thanks.

I have owned this gun for a little over a year and I am nothing but happy with it. I just bought the 22 conversion from Kimber and that has even doubled the pleasure. Good luck in your choice, but I am a Kimber man.

I owned a Kimber Custom in stainless for several years.  Loved that gun!  100% reliable and very accurate.  Should have never sold it but there was something else I thought I needed at the time.  That one is definately on the list of guns that I wish I had kept!  44 Man

Have a TLE and love it.  As far as a combat pistol is concerned, you can do much worse and little better.

Extremely reliable pistol that is easy to shoot well.

The integrated rail works well - Surefire light is optimum.
