, not sure if this is where to post this but here goes since it is partly gunsmithing I guess.
My brother has a governement full size 45 acp frame that he wants to convert to, or get a conversion kits for it in 22 LR caliber. He wants a steel slide and parts, no aluminum/alloy stuff, just steel. Does anyone know who makes a conversion slide /kit for a 45 acp frame? If so can you please post web-addresses here so I can let him know.
Also if anyone has one laying around or one that they might want to sell etc, send me a note here and/or post me a reply mesage here if you can. It woudl be greatly appreciated. I tild him there are a good bunch of guys here that are very knowledgeable and I said I would ask for him since he has a bad internet connection due to bad lines so he is unable to get on-line much to check himself.
