OT - Anyone in or near Bellingham WA?
« on: February 13, 2006, 10:33:07 AM »
(If the location word in the subject is censored, it is Bell-ing-ham... why would that be censored I wonder??)  I do not have a clue why the word censor did that. I just reviewed all the words on the list and can see absolutely no reason it kicked that one out. The first four letters do occur in several censored words but not them alone and not in conjunction with the letters that follow it. The program clearly is not working as designed. Sorry. GB
Gonna be moving to that area in the next few months. Wondering what kind of shooting facilities, clubs, etc might be there. Also open to renting/buying a place.

Email or PM me if you have any info/contacts/etc.

Thanks
Kerry

Try researching the Custer Gun Club.  Some great people there.  Not too far from Bellingham.

Talk to the people at Kesselrings Gun Shop in B*****ham.  A must visit place every time I pass through.

GB thanks for the reply... I figured it might have been that the system got the 'B' at the beginning and the 'h' at the end confused when added to the 'ell' .. oh well  it might actually be helpful to have that censored... more guys will likely get curious and read it

Coastwatcher, thanks for the info... and thanks for the Kesselrings link, I was trying to remember their name... haven't been in that area for several years, but they are definitely THE place.

blammer, good and entertaining explanation...

Cheers

I went back and took another look and figured out what was doing it. I deleted that one from the Censor list and now your city shows as it should. It was a wildcard aka * that I had between the last "L" and the "M" that was kicking it out. I just dumped that one and now it's OK.
