Actions & Barrels for Dummy's
« on: February 17, 2006, 03:33:49 AM »
I have a question of what action does winchester use in the m 70 along with the safari express.  All I know is that it is a mauser type cfr.. Some not..  I a person wanted to build a safari rifle 458, 416 375 closest to how winchester did, what action and barrel would you use along with from who and where can you purchase them???  Thank You :D

Not a Winchester, but they claim to have combined the best features of several different actions into theirs. I like the looks and will have to try one in the furture for a new custom rifle.
