Hearing protection advise
« on: February 17, 2006, 09:22:44 AM »
After I got out of the military (they never worried much about hearing loss)Right ear is noticably "number" than the left & High freqs just don't exist any more.
Around "normal" shooting I have always worn lee-sonics.
In Sar I used them under noise cancelling earphones (I was Como)
Now Both "my" Lady And I are going to a mortar shoot.
I still have my lee-sonics. Are they acceptable for LARGE booms?
And what shall I get for her? (I know, the better they are the more they cost)
 Ehh? What say
Dave
Did you hear about the "teenager repelent" that some shopowners are using in england? Uses a high pitch mosquito-like sound at high volume. drives the kids away but most people oves 20 can't even hear it.
