So if I have a 5-15 scope that lets me see the bullets holes at 100 yards down to .224 what if I made a cheap spotting scope with it?
Say I get a camera tripod, tripod adapter (found one), aluminum barstock, and some old Weaver mounts (found some). Tap some holes in the aluminum bar to match the Weaver mounts and to match the tripod adapter. Presto. A spotting scope. So maybe the Benelli crowd would look down on it but....
Would this work? Was driving down the road and my big brain got to thinking.
