Interesting how 'history' gets twisted and turned isn't it?   It's no wounder we learn few lessons from history, seems a great deal of it is fiction any way. I guess the political 'Spin-Doctors' have been around a long, long time.  Heck that might even be the second oldest profession.  :)  :D
