beartooth bullet question
« on: February 21, 2006, 07:47:58 PM »
On the Beartooth website some bullets are silver and some are a gold color.  Are the gold ones jacketed?  Jackets aren't mentioned in the descriptions.  Is it just the lighting or is the alloy just different?

Reading the old posts points me toward the 265 gr with .432 diameter.

I think it's just the lighting, I have some of their .459" 525gr Piledrivers, nice bullets...they're not gold plated, but for what they cost, they should be, seems to me they charge $13 shipping for the 1 box I bought.

I am really anxious to try those .432 bullets.  Never shot a cast bullet before either.  Man, for $13 I might have to suck it up and buy two boxes to justify the shipping though.  Any suggestion on the second box?  Another 265 grain?

I believe Marshall has switched to the flat rate USPS shipping container.  It used to cost $7.70 for up to 70 pounds, but that was before this latest postage increase.
