Hey everyone. I  havent been Yote hunting for very long. I got interested in it about a month ago. I live in Texas and have about 300 acres that I hunt deer and wild hog on. I got me a Randy Anderson Hot Dog and Lil Dog and a Buck Gardner Coaxer. Well tonight I was out trying to call some in with some howls and I actually heard some howl back. Didnt sound like they were too far off. I was so excited!!! I think I'm hooked and I havent even seen one. Just heard them and seen their tracks. Anyways, just a lil excited, justin. :)

Good to see some Texas boys.  I been calling off and on for over 20 years.  Went to tapes a few years ago, (rabbit in distress) it gets their attention away from me.  Place the tape about 50 or so yards out.  Had them come in from a few seconds and the longest was 17 minutes.  On an average I get a coyote to come in about every 10 stands.  By the way I'm in South Texas on the Gulf coast and we haven't had any measureable rainfall in 4 months.  Good hunting.
