There has also been rumor that Cabelas is coming to the Oly area, also.

I go to the Sportsman's  in Silverdale as it's only about 30 minutes away, they have good prices and selection.  Unlike Sportco in Fife which has been very disapointing. Iam glad to hear ther are enough sportsmen to support another store.

The Sportsman's Wharehouse just opened a location here in PA.  I really like the store, it is just about the right size--not as big as Cabelas or Bass Pro, but large enough to have an excellent selection.

You will probably be able to get some excellent deals in the first couple of weeks that they are open.  I was buying Hodgdon powder for just over $15 a pound when they opened here; now it is about $20.

I just got home from a trip to the Clackamas Sportsmans, they have 10% off on purchases at the checkout thru Sunday!!  8)

The Cabelas scheduled to be built is in Hawks Prairie, near Lacey.

Good for you, Tim!  Last year we had both a Sportsman's Warehouse and a Gander Mountain come in.  SW has great gun prices for a big store.  Bought a Ruger Single Six, 5.5", and stainless for $329...everyday price.  That was $60 cheaper than GM and $70 cheaper than our other sporting goods store.

You'll spend more, but it'll do your heart good to see "Reloading" in big letters on the front of the store, alongside "Hunting", "Fishing", & "Camping".  :)  Bullets & Brass & Primers, oh my!
