Starts Monday morning buddy.  Good luck Huntin'.  Of course, if you can't find any Turkey there are always the Geese on Collins Lake (lolol).

Actually, I have seen a lot of Turkey in the area (Sch'dy Cty) so you should have some success.  I'll crosses me fingers fer ya.  Mikey.

Let us all know if we have any NY'ers having success in the turkey woods...I must wait until the weekend to get out in the woods...I can't take any days off from the police academy to go hunting...Maybe next year.

Bagged a mature tom this morning in region 7M. He gobbled off and on all morning, finally came in to a single cluck at about 10:45 am. Heard a fair amount of gobbling at first light, more than I've heard over the last 4 or 5 years. Should turn out to be a good season. Good luck all.
