I want a NEF 22lr with open sights, wish my 17hm2 had open sights but no.

Which model is available?  Seems that the sportster only has the weaver rail and I do not want a youth model due to the length of pull.

Send your frame in with an order for a 22Lr barrel with sights which will cost an additional $50 or buy the youth from Walmart for $117 and put your 17M2 butt stock on it. They list it with a scope rail but H&R lists it with sights. Sports South shows it in stock.

Talleyho ordered a Sportster 22Lr from Walmart recently, it came with iron sights!

Thanks Quick,

The one Tallyho describes is the config I am after.  The NEF site is a bit confusing with their pics and descriptions.  I even asked for a catalog but none has arrived yet after two weeks waiting.  Ya think Sports south would answer a question on their stock and configuration?

Donno, call em, but I suspect since they're a wholesaler, they might not give you any info, but it's worth a try.
