Just wondering how many people use the bushnell holosight and if it holds zero for them. I had one on my shotgun for turkeys and it worked great. but i bought a new 44 mag and put it on ol "pipsqueak" ( I name all my guns) at the range the other day I was way to the right I adjusted and all seems fine but has anyone had one of these sites not hold a zero?

I had one and it worked great, I just thought it was ugly, no matter which gun I put it on.  :D

Mine is bolted to a Colt Anaconda 44 mag and it holds right where it's 'sposed to.  Yeah, it ain't pretty but its doggoned good at what it was designed to do, help out old farts like me with eyes that ain't what they used to be.  I also had one mounted on a Remington 25-06 that I sold to a nephew and he slew one heckuva big muley with it last Fall so I kinda like'm.

 The eyes are the reason i use that ugly ol sight :cry: . just cant watch the rear sight the front sight and the target at the same time any more. so now put the dot on the target and squeeze. bang flop. :)

it failed yesterday, not the holding zero part but after shooting about 30 rounds i could not see the dot. it seems that the spring that makes contact with the batteries got push back into the rubber that holds it in place and no contact was being made. an easy fix and will be shooting it alot more to make sure it dont happen again. in all fairness to bushnell this sight has had hundreds of round under it. but you hate to have stuff like this happen as it takes away from  the reliable factor.
