i've seen this add-on for paintball guns in the past, but i never would have thought anyone would actually market it for a true firearm.

it just seems awful dangerous.

I have seen them as well, and wonder why anyone would want one. Seems like a way to go through lots of shells, and wear out a gun mighty fast for no good reason. I guess to each their own...

I got one that I bought cheap at a gun shop as a close out item. I tried it once on a 10/22 and then threw in in a junk drawer. they do not work that well an they do not fit on some trigger guards very well either. Even if you can get them to work they only work well off a bipod where you cannot really aim off the shoulder is next to impossible. Not worth the money even at 20 bucks or the time. Te be honest with you a semi auto 22 raps them off pretty darn fast by them selves with out any add on's. I really do not see the need for such a thing.

A friend of mine has one on an SKS with a 30 round clip.
He will fold the bayonet down and stick it in the ground
as a monopod and he gets incredible results with it.
Kind of a poor man's gattling gun. he has a problem with ferral
dogs and he will open up on them with it from the back door
of his barn. I know this is extreme but he has a blast doing it.
I have never done it but it is a hoot to watch when he gets
after them..... Reminds me of R. Lee from the show mail call....Yelling,
Hoo-Ya' ---Get some ----Get some--as he shoots at them.
And yes, he is a Marine too.
They are not very practical but he has a great deal of fun with it.
He does not leave it on the rifle, it is dangerous from the perspective that
it makes it very easy to inadvertantly pull the trigger.

sounds like fun to me.

i don't know who in their right mind would use that on a paintball gun , but i would love to play against him. E-trigger or a rocker is the only way to go.

:-D Sorry but reading the post about the SKS and the feral dogs just cracked me up. The "get some....yeah.....get some" was a scene from the movie Full Metal Jacket. Just picturing someone going off like that and screaming "Get Some!" really hit my funny bone. :-D

There is a company that supplies the parts, minus the receivers and barrels for two 10/22's side by side with a crank for firing them. Talk about an inexpensive firestorm. I have seen a home made rimfire system with cam followers/roller bearings set 180 degrees from each other and an aluminum crank. This clamped on the trigger gaurd and was the smoothest rapid fire set-up one could ever imagine. The magazine capacity was it's only limitation.
