I just completed bedding the barrel lug and barrel to the frame. I used epoxy with 1/3 aluminum powder by volume. Following the usual steps of degreasing and preventing the epoxy from sticking to the barrel and lug I applied a small amount of the mix to the four points on the frame where there are raised 'buttons'. Assembly and closing the action spread the mix down the sides of the lug and up towards the centerline of the barrel.
The bedding ought to dampen out any excess vibration and help prevent the barrel from moving sideways and twisting when firing. The action opens with little additional resistance and seems to lock up tight with full engagement of the latch.
I'll post a range report with the hoped for accuracy improvement(or otherwise).
