Cleanin' Dirty Traps
« on: February 27, 2006, 05:43:14 AM »
I've got a 1/2 dozen 1 1/2s that have gotten really dirty this season.

It's is not really rust, just kinda gunk and mud.

Any tips on cleanin' 'em?

Thanks!

go down and read the 'muratic acid/vinegar' post--
I like Newts idea about tumblin them in a concrete mixer---but I dont have one----the car wash may be what you need for gunk and mudd

Mud and gunk?  All you got to do is hose 'em off.  Really wanna blast 'em?  Take 'em to the car wash and blast 'em with the high pressure hose.  See that mud and gunk go flying 6 ways from Sunday.
