Anybody ever use one of these? I have a kitchenaid, and was thinking about getting the grinder attachment for it, but it just looks kind of cheap. Its a kitchenaid, so I would expect it to work well for anything, experience with this?

I would say it's fine for home use but not for heavy duty or industrial application. It cleans easily, is a simple design, etc. If you already have the mixer then the grinder is worth a try. I have used one for many years and for the most part it works fine. Working alone on moose and deer I have had no problem. However, one time with two other fellows and a huge pile of caribou we burned the motors out of mine (wife's!) and another (other guys wife's!). So we had the motors rebuilt locally as the mfr had no interest.
