Win. model 70 extractors
« on: February 25, 2006, 07:32:46 PM »
I have the option to  buy a pre-64 long action claw extractor and keep on hand if it will be an identical replacement for my new model 70 Winchester CRF-be good to keep on hand. I suppose the metals are solid steel in the old days compared to the present day cast - no? The fella has it from a stand. long action as is mine. thanks.

There are several dimensional differences that would keep the pre-64 action from being a direct replacement for the new model CRF. The pre-64 is a desireable action but the new Clasic or CRF action is different.,.  How much is the guy asking for the pre-64.. I'm always interested in actions if the price is right.
