Yea it's low and slow here to. All my hunting is finished, until September 06 anyway. I have nowhere to hunt varmints, never even tried that. The only thing I can really hunt from here until September is crow. But I was brought up the "YOU SHOOT IT- YOU EAT IT BOY" way and Im not that hungry.
Man it's going to be a long summer. I do go to the pistol / rifle range when I can during the summer months. That range somewhat helps me keep my sanity. I have been to every gun show in town since deer and squirrel season have ended. I took an old shotgun and an old rifle (dust collectors) to last weekends show to try and sell. To my surprise I sold them as soon as I walked through the door and got what I wanted for both. I put the funds towards a brand new Taurus PT-92. Here it is

Hey my brother and my father both shoot that same Ruger you have there. It's a good gun, tuff as nails and even with the heavy triggers their still good shooters. My dad has an old Simmons pro hunter on his and boy if he doesnt hit every dang on thing he shoots at. Maybe this has a lot to do with the fact that he is retired from the air force (30 some years). He was listed as a chief master sergeant. He was also an expert firearms trainer. Well enough rambling.
