Where to get an encore 24" heavy bbl SST in 9mm Pistol caliber

I'm looking to do some plinking with some of the mainstream pistol ammo. either 9mm , .40 , or .45acp .  I would want a barrel for  an encore in one of these calibers. 9mm would be best because of the price of ammo. but all 3 would do. My question is, where do i find the barrel i'm looking for? I would like to have SST w/ no sights, just drilled and tapped. Even a shorter barrel than 24" will do, but i do wnat it to be a rifle. thanks everyone!

I understand your concern over ammo costs. In my single barreled break-open guns, I prefer the rimmed cartridges. This would be the 38 Special - 357 Mag or 44 Special - 44 Mag. I think you can buy either the 357 or 44 Mag barrels through the Custom shop in any length barrel you want. As short as 16" or as long as 26". I am not sure you can get them in the 9mm or the 40 S&W, but I think you can get them in 45 ACP. The 38 Specials do not cost a whole lot more than the 9 mm but some. I think I would prefer the barrel to be 18" or 20", but again that is personal. You might check Midway USA for barrels too. They have a couple of barrels in the 357 MAX (38, 357 and 357 MAX can be shot in this barrel), 32 H&R Mag and 44 mag that are in rifle length barrels. 45 ACP, but not rifle barrel long. I will point out, though, that any velocity gain in 9mm beyond around 18" is going to be minimal. But if you are like me, the balance of a 24" barrel seems about optimum in the Encore (though this is strictly a subjective thing).

after a little bit more looking i found that Match Grade Machine or MGM offers all 3 calibers. the 9mm Luger, the .40 S&W and the .45acp . This is good new for me, and i guess anyone else that wants the same kind of barrel. I love these encores.....
