E-Bay: a dangerous place
« on: May 02, 2006, 08:03:05 AM »
I have been home and out of work and have been spending alot more time on the computer. I've been going to e-bay too. I keep finding these deals that  I can't turn down. Last night it was a Puma trapper with ivory handles. That make five knives in three weeks. I just hope that I can get the credit card bills [when they come] before my wife does. She already thinks I have to many knives, and you guys know that there is no such thing as "to many knives."    Jim

swamp yankee,

Resist! resist! ebay is an addiction that is hard to break! especially when it comes to knives.

I always see something for a bargain, and think "if I saw that at that price on a gun show table or in a store I'd buy it" or "those would be perfect for loaners or for gifts"and the snowball just continues to get bigger and bigger.......

good luck, walking down the path of pure evil, I mean ebay..rvtrav

Swamp Yankee, you're right E-bay is a budget killer.  I made the mistake of checking out Marbles on there.  3 weeks later I have 4.  I keep trying to tell myself I don't need any more but... Well gotta go, 2 more are ending soon!

Well guys I got busted buying a Case Russlock. I gave her the "to good to pass up story" don't know if she bought it. I didn't tell her about the Shrade 100 Aniversary sharp finger that I have high bid on [so far]. It closes sat the fifth at 12 pm or so................. at this point I don't know if I should let it go if I get out bided.
Dubber..........I like those Marbles with the coke bottle handles

Rvtrav...........I'm just to weak.........I can't help myself. I wonder if there is a 12 step program for e-bay?................Jim
