.45/.410 question
« on: March 19, 2003, 09:17:49 AM »
I... uh.. have this friend, see....
Does anybody know if a 10" .45/.410 barrel can be sold from California to someone OUTSIDE of California?  I know they are considered illegal to buy in California, but I'd rather it was used by someone rather than destroyed.  I was told they were legal if they had a rifled barrel (which it does).  But I noticed that all the websites, which sell the 10" .45/.410, say "NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA".  So anybody know for SURE?

To my knowledge it is legal to transfer these OUT of the Socialist Republic of Kalifornia. Under federal law these (barrels) are not required to be registered nor require a FFL to transfer. Only your state and maybe one or two others have restrictions against these.
Just another worthless opinion!!

Why not just keep it. I doubt it will ever be worth anything, but I' won't be trading or selling mine and Iam in Kalifornia as well
