I'm looking for a very light, very compact rangefinder that will consistently range deer out to 400 yards. My rifle will be sighted in to shoot point blank to 300 yards but I want readings to 400 because there's a lot of bullet drop in that last 100 yards. Can the compact little Scout or another light, compact rangefinder do it? I've been on the Bushnell website and have searched rangefinder ratings but no luck. I know you can range on rocks and othe reflective targets near the deer but there aren't many good reflective targets where I hunt.
