Has anyone else heard the rumor Gander Mountain is folding up May 1st. I've been hearing this for the past couple week. Does anyone have the lowdown on whats going on. I've been hearing the shutdown is corporate wide not just locally.

Oh well, if the prices are as high throughout the country as they are locally, well I can see it coming.

Its just a shame to see any bussiness fold up in any area. Jobs are jobs and we're losing them too fast around here.

That's a good point. I haven't bought anything from my local Gander Mountain in about 9 months for this same reason! :shock:

My brother is a truck driver and he heard it from a couple truckers that deliver to Gander. Heard the same at work and at the gun club. Its all hearsay right now, we'll have to wait and see.

Well that would be a shame...Although there is nothing there that I cannot purchase at other locations in the area...

The GM in Henrietta seems to be doing well . Can't omagine them folding .
