Heavy bullets for the 22-250

I just got some 90gr. BTHP Sierras to try in my 22-250. It says on the box for 6.5 inch barrles only. I know mine is probably a 12 inch twist, so what is gonna happen when I shoot them? Am i gonna get a tumbling bullet or just really poor accuracy?

If it shoots like heavy bullets in my hornet, you will miss an 8.5x11 target at 25 yards. Or if you do hit it, you may have oblong holes. Some bullets will stabilize, pending on the ogive and bearing surface on the bullet. A buddy of mine made some 100 grainers and sent to a gent. He is using them in a 1:8 twist barrel with good accuracy. Give them a try, but be careful of your background...
