I understand the hunting has been good over the past few days, a couple of young men that I allowed to hunt on my property said they took 14 rattlesnakes yesterday afternoon. The largest was just over 4 feet long.
With the warm weather (95 degrees last week) they are out of the dens and ready to start moving. This should make for a very good year at the Sweetwater Rattlesnaake Round-up, and the guys I let hunt already have a few pounds in the bank.
