Gunsmith needed
« on: March 05, 2006, 01:47:43 PM »
Anyone here know of a gunsmith who can fit a 308 survivor barrel to an SB2 receiver?  I purchased a bull barrel in 308 off e-bay and need it fitted to my receiver.  I have no intention of trying to do it myself nor would I assume it to be safe without having a gunsmith check headspacing and lock-up.  It does not lock when closed right now.  My 243 and 22 Hornet barrels have been factory fitted.

Thanks,

Gunner

Any gunsmith should be able to do it, if many of us can do our own with the instructions for fitting in the FAQ, then any smith shouldn't have a problem if you don't feel comfortable DIY.
