Ejection problem
« on: March 07, 2006, 07:07:55 PM »
Have a Marlin model 99 M1-cal .22LR, that I've owned over 40 years.  Great little squirrel gun, but for a long time I've had ejection problems with it.  Fired case get stuck in action sideways about every 4 or 5 rounds.  A good cleaning does not help.  Finally noticed wear on edge of metal lip that cartridge hits to be ejected.  Wonder if taking a needle file to it to square it off would solve problem.
