I was given a 1903 Springfield 30-06 rifle and after shooting it I got to looking at the cases and saw that they looked stretched at the case head end. They were not hard to eject and nothing felt or sounded out of the norm. The serial# range of the rifle is in the safe to shoot range. Is this something I should worry about or is it normal? :D

NOT normal!  Have the headspace checked before shooting again.  It might have a randomly replaced bolt.

Or you may just have been looking at the normal end-of-chamber marks but of course shorty is right.. actually all used weapon should be checked if the heretige is suspect or totally unkown.. It's the cheapest insurance in the world!!
