Try par-boiling the ribs. First, chill them down in a fridge or freezer, and use a fillet knife to pare off most of the fat, it's like tallow, it don't taste good! Par-boil for a good 40 minutes with salt pepper and garlic in the water.
Throw out the water while it is hot, to get rid of grease. Paint on a good coating of BBQ sauce and bake in a roasting pan, 300-350 degrees for 2 hours, or more. Every half hour put on more BBQ. When the meat is tender enough to pull off the bone with a fork, it's ready. Should be great! Let us know!!
