I'm not Veral but I do use his soft blue lube in both rifle and pistol and I think it is the cleanest lube I've ever used except maybe Apache Blue which was as clean but not cleaner. Truth be told, I don't think it worked as well at high velocity either. I like LBT lube for all of my smokeless shooting. It would be great if you could also find a clean burning powder such as "Clays" for your shooting. Unfortunately, Clays is not suitable for heavy loads but dang, is it clean and soot free.
