Ideal Annealing Temperature (reached) is gauged by the color of the metal during the process?

The ideal temperature is reached approximately when the metal is a DULL red. You can not see that red in bright light so it is best to work in a subdued light and when you can see the red at all you are at the right temperature. Quickly dowse it in the cool water and it is soft and workable.

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.
