I assume your talking about a sight screwed into the barrel at the front. Be sure there's no flash at the entrance to the threaded hole in the barrel. If noy it's likely the bottom of the sight will need to be filed a bit to get the sight to turn in and align. Be very careful, a little goes a long way and its easier to file it off than grow it back. If its a blind hole(ribbed barrel) it's possible the stem is bottoming out. Shorten it.. A dab of loctite will secure things after they align.  Aalso if in an un0-rebbed barrel be certain to file the stem that protrudes through into the bore off flush. If you don't inpleasant things can happen..

Is the barrel top where the threaded hole is, smooth or is there a burr raised when it was drilled. This woyuldn't likely have caused a problem with the normal round bead but the flat base of the HiVis sight hits it and won't allow the sight to be screwed completely down. Can you see light between the top of the barrel and the bottom of the sight? Then it's likely a burr or a small manufacturing defect in the sight itself.. Fine needle files will remove the interfering material. I've also seen the screw on some sights that wasn't threaded all the way to the top. this can prevent it from being screwed completely down. A slight countersinking of the barrel usually will allow them to fully seat. If all else fails the bottom of the sight itself can be carefully filed to remove just enough material to allow complete seating. I use a small cresnt wrench on these sights. While they are not extremely strong they must be tightened fully.
