Hunters specialties V Pod.

I bought my son one of these shooting sticks to hunt turkeys with. It mounts to the barrel of his shotgun.  I know how these handis are when you don't rest them in the right place.  I think it with mount to the barrel of his 243.  Do you think it would affect it much for coyote hunting?  Thanks, oktx.

oktx i made a set of shooting stix,  bin doing a lot of reading and if you rest the barrel on the sling of the crosed stix and start just in front of the forend and shoot 3 the move 1 inch back and shoot 3 .do that the full length of the exposed barrel you will find wot they call the sweet spot and your groups will come in back to normal it works with my buff classic.
