What is the normal length of time for H&R to rebarrel a receiver and get it back to you?

Yup, could be 2-3 weeks if you're lucky, could be 6-8 weeks or more if they don't have your barrel in stock, it's best to call and check.

Receivers sent 1-7-06, received 1-11-96 by factory.  Received rebarreled guns 3-8-06.  couldn't fit the 7.62 x 39 bbl to my action as too old.  Ordered a couple of scope bases and an extractor which they forgot to send, so had to reorder and pay shipping on the stuff.  I think they should have eaten the shipping since it was their screwup.  Got 357 bbl also, and took 5 min to rechamber to 357 max.  Rechambered gun has about a .110 throat compared to .350" on my factory 357max barrel(which I am planning to rechamber to 356 Win).  Only drawback on the 357 factory barrel is that it has the PLASTIC sights on it!!!
