I've been a few in some stands that I thought would either fall over or the floors would fall through, but nothing to compete with yours.

Was your hunt successful? If so I want to here about the retrieval.

Were you put in that stand by a "professional" hunting guide?  If so, find another guide.

Maybe the guide thought you said you wanted to hunt Gators?  :)

My "worst" stand had to be the evening I sat on a too slim climber (cold and uncomfortable as h e l l ) for 5 hours.  At O-dark-30 with the buck I had patterned standing just inside the tree line and out of range, the forest took a breath, the wind changed to my back, the buck got the drop on me and snorted me out of the woods and back to my truck.   Smart animal, tough conditions, we'll meet another time.

I've seen and killed hogs sucking up corn in 8 inches of standing water under a feeder   The hogs knew the corn was there.  They got it every previous day when it was not flooded.

I can not fathom why a guide (or anyone) would introduce you to hunt in an area surrounded by nothing less than 12 inches (or more) of standing water?  Was there a feeder?  Did you see anything while there?

I was also hunting in Georgia, just a few miles from the Alabama line, on 1200 acres, and only two of us using the place.  I got into one stand that had a piece of plywood to cover the shooting window.  Every time I would as much as scratch my nose, the cover would rattle against the building.  BUT, I was out hunting and I had a great time.  If I ever get the chance, I will be back in a heartbeat. Remember the old saying, the worst day hunting beats the best working.

Around here, bushwhacking hogs at a water hole works
pretty well. Sooner or later, they have to get water, feeder
or no feeder.
Also, the odds are much higher they will be active at night around here.
