The Bullberry website says you can size the 25 BB in one step from full sized 30-30 brass. I've tried, and on some of my cases I get flat spot on the shoulder. No wrinkling, just flats, and it's not on all of them. I'm using once fired brass, and didn't think it should be a problem, but now I'm not so sure. Anybody have any experience with sizing the 25 BB?

Sounds like you have either too much lube on the cases or possible a build up of lube in the die. I'd clean out the die real well, and lightly lube the case and try it. In any event, from your description it is not a problem and only cosmetic.

Too much case lube will leave dimples in the shoulder. Try cleaning the sizer die and use the lube sparingly.

I'd be surprised if you can get once fired brass to work properly, unless the sizing die is a true custom and sizes the base small enough to chamber in the barrel.

I just got myself a 25 Bullberry the other day. I know the directions say you can size it down in one step, however, I use my 7-30 waters die as a intermediate sizer between the .30 and .25 cal. So far, I've only have one case fail out of 50 resizing attempts. Annealing the neck after resizing should fix this problem.
