Been shooting off the bench for several years now, mostly for testing new loads. But every once in a while I go thru a period of inconsistency in my shooting form.
I know the rifle should come straight back with a little muzzle jump on firing. But I go thru streaks where the rifle jumps up and left. I will typically have 2 shots touching, or almost so, and the 3rd will be off an inch. I would think it must be a pressure problem concerning contact with something on my shoulder or on the shooting bag.
My left hand can be over the scope, and this seems to solve the problem, but if I keep it tucked/wrapped under in the standard form I get this weird reaction at times. Any help out there?
Thanks,
Long
