Up Dated Website
« on: April 04, 2006, 05:50:46 PM »
Neff Cannons now has an updated website.  My son-in-law Larry and daughter Lucretia have been working for several weeks,  perfecting my new website. I told my son-in-law that's nothing, I spent several years perfecting him a perfect wife.

The new site has a Forum, a Gallery and info on each cannon.  The Gallery has lots of pictures of not just my cannons, also cannons across the country.  There's photos of building the cannons, more to come soon, and photos in general.  Click on the photos and they enlarge, showing great detail.

View the site and give me your thoughts.

Rick;  The site looks good and all the pages I clicked on loaded up just fine. You have probably noticed some things that don't need to be on the main page but that's just clean up work.

It was great to see you at the Reno Show.

Looks good!

Bigger pictures too!  (You do such quality work - might as well flaunt it!)

Will,   My daughter and I talked about cleaning up the main page although due to the format may not me able to do such.  This has to be easy so I can update the site myself, hate to say it but it must be idot proff.  Reno was a good show, sold two guns.

Tim,   thanks, I do like the way the pictures come up big.  Don't mean to show off, then agean---

Did you check out the Gallery,  will be adding more soon.

Really nice web site. What I would like to see is some sort of reference as to the size of your models. Dimensions in inches or feet, or the usual Goex, soda, or beer can.  A 1/6 scale doesn’t mean anything if you haven’t any idea what the original size should be.
Keep up your good work.  Just my thoughts.  :D

I had on the old site a picture of my teenage daughter sitting by a 1/3 scale 24 pound field Howitzer.  I will check to see if it is still on the site. The last three days We had our youngest three of eight grandson here, oldest is 16 months.  We took pictures of them with the cannons, were teaching them young.  These should be posted in the next day or two.

For referance, the wheels are apx. 18.5" tall.
 Thanks for the input

Doug D. thinks their "unfinished"  although they still look good.

It sure is a nice web site.  And, I'll have to agree with Capt Ed, that the usual can (powder can) would really be nice to show the scale.  We most likely all know just how large/small the powder can is.  Keep up the great work!!
