just got a remington m7600 special run in .25-06 with the maple stock and love it , i've got a chance at getting one in 7mm-08 and i'm going to do it , the special runs for 2005 were in .25-06 , 7mm-08 , 6mm rem , and the anniversary edition in .30-06 , as well as walnut stock and synthetic stock versions in .35 whelen and .35 rem

my question is this , what other cartridges have the special run 7600's been available in , in other years ?????    i'de love to know

I had one of those .25-06 special runs in my hands one day not long ago.  It took all the fortitude I could muster to put it back.  They are a nice looking rifle.   As to what other calibers they may have been made in years ago, I don't know.  But I'm sure somebody here does.

I bought the 25-06 special run also but I bought the laminate stock. UGLY! If I had known the maple was coming out I would have waited.

It was called brown laminate but in fact it is gray and black. I have not shot it yet but have mounted a 4X12 on it.

The only specials I have seen are the 35 Whelen, 35 Remington carbine, ( I have both), the 25-06, 7mm-08, 6mm and 30-06 same as stated. I would buy the 6mm in maple but it is too close to the 25-06 plus I have to scope it.

I also have a special run 7400 carbine in .280 Remington. I will also be buying the new 750 carbine in 35 Whelen.

MIKE.
