oddly alike Tasco and Barska

Ya know i looked at the Tasco 6-24x42mil-dot (which i own) and the Barska 6-24x42mil-dot. They are so incredibly alike, could they be the same thing just under different markings?

from the zoom ring to turrets they look exactly alike, its just the angle and poor resolution of the Barska image hinders the AO view, but they look different.
