A local legend is getting new life. In the last two weeks, there were three separate Bigfoot sighting in rural Atoka County. The final sighting included photos that some say is the mysterious creature itself.

Talk to people around Clear Boggy Creek in Atoka County and you will here thousands of stories. But last week, the legend himself, Bigfoot, was supposedly spotted in those very woods.

They have grown up on these woods and know them well. But last week, 13-year-old Morgan Whatley and her 12-year-old brother Garrett came across something strange right across the creek was a creature she'd never seen before.

But the claims of the Whatley kids were passed off as a child's imagination. That changed just days later when a woman in her fifties had to be taken to a hospital. She reported seeing a big hairy creature in her yard and had an anxiety attack.

It's all over the newspaper and on everyone's mind; what was seen at boggy bottom? Some people say it is Bigfoot. Others aren't believers yet.

A local store owner set up game cameras hoping to catch a glimpse. The pictures are below. We'll let you be the judge.

The creature in the photos looks like someone with a skin of some kind draped over him/her.  Of course, the photos may be a hoax or joke while the sightings may be authentic.

This has been talked about some on some of the other Bigfoot related sites out there. This is a obvious faked as almost anyone can tell from the pictures. Someone on another forum even admitting to know the person who done these pictures and they are having a big laugh over it.

Now even that these pictures are faked they was done because some "REAL" sightings have taken place in the same areas that they was made in. That is what gave the morons that made the pictures their ideas. They are very brave people as anyone who world ware a thing like that in the woods is not all that bright. If someone with a gun seen them chances are they might not be having such a good laugh about now.


You know pictures like these really piss me off big time. They do nothing but make anyone who believes in Bigfoot look like fools. I know it is mean to say it but I really wish someone would shoot some moron trying to pull something like this. If that happened a couple of times just maybe the morons of the world would think before trying this stuff. If they know that they had a high chance of being SHOT then chances are they would not do it.
The Bigfoot community will never get the respect they deserve until people stop pulling things like these pictures. That is one of the main reasons I am pro kill because until a body is gotten most of the world will never believe they are real. To me it would be a very sad thing if they became extinct before they became a known animal. Unless they become a known animal nothing will ever be done to protect them and let them live in peace. The way humans are destroying the world no way that they will be able to live for to many more years unless something is done. We have no ideas at all just how much land they need or even what kind. Who knows it may take 5 times the amount of land to support 1 Bigfoot then  what it would take to support 1 bear, Or it could be 10x or 20 times we just have no clue. We chances are will never know that stuff until some researchers can get the funding needed to do some real research. Right now all of the research being done is being done out of pocket. We all know how much it can cost these days just to go camping let alone what it would cost for some high tech tools to help in trying to find one. Some of the researchers are having a lot of luck and I believe if given the right stuff to work with they would have one captured dead or alive. Over the years I have seen some great ideas tried but in almost every case they had to call things off in a short time because of funding. I have said for years that if I ever win the lotto I will put together a group and fund them and I really think the job would get done. I really believe that the right people with the right tools would get the job done. And it should be done not for profit like some think but for the good of the animals and the world. Just think what we could learn from a animal that some believe (Including myself) is a lot like ourselves even more so then some great apes. Just look how they have stayed hidden from us for so long, Just that is a amazing thing.
