I'm need some advice on powder for my 7mmtcu.
I've been using IMR 4895 I LIKE THE NUMBERS USING Hodgon H322 but it's non existent in this area.How about Hodgon H335.
I'm shooting 120gr bullets in a 10 barrel.

Actually 335 works well accuracy wise... Makes it into a 7mm fireball tho... I use the data from the sierra book and have excellent results. [don't have access to that data ATT but can get it if you can't find it].. MV

H335 will give you flames. It is excellent in the longer barrels.

With 120s, try 27.0-27.5gr WW748 and Winchester small rifle primer.
Same load with Rem 150 bulk bullet has accounted for numerous silhouette targets over the years.

Seat your bullets with the base of bullet no deeper than shoulder. With the 120s, if boat tailed, you will not hold a lot of bullet, but if they are loaded straight and close to the rifling, they will be accurate.

Just a note that may be of interest to some of you. I, too, noticed the flash using H335 in some of my Contender loadings and did some research on it. I found that in some cases I could use Accurate 2230 with a magnum primer and get results like H335 but with a little less flash and noise. Accuracy seemed better and velocities were almost identical.

If it helps, I use AA2230C surplus powder in my 14" 7TCU for pistol silhouette with good results. I load to about 1850 fps with a 139 gn Hornady bullet. Accuracy is good and recoil and muzzel blast are mild. I can get more velocity but don't need it. The 139 bullet takes down the rams easily.
