I am in Louisiana. Squirrel season opens in October. At that time, the squirrels are up in the trees. Later in the season, they are more on the ground and it is hard to hunt them without a dog. This year Louisiana is going to have a Spring season in May. I have never hunted squirrels in the Spring. How do you do it? I am planning to hunt like I do in October, stalk and sit, with a rifle, and see what happens. The limit is only three instead of the normal eight.
Any other suggestions?
