If you buy a used leoupold / nikon scope, does the lifetime warrenty stick with it ? or its void since your not the original owner....

Or is it only "some" model that have the "full lifetime transferable warrenty"

Im confused here....

All Leupold gold ring scopes carry a full lifetime warranty, even if you find it in a dumpster. :grin:
I am not certain if all Nikon models carry the same warranty.

That is why I buy Leupold, it has a lifetime warranty no matter who buys it. Plus the Leupolds are better scopes in my opinion. :-D

Below is Nikon's Warranty Policy.

Nikon is dedicated to quality, performance and total customer satisfaction. If any Nikon riflescope is found to have defects in workmanship or materials, we will, at our option, repair or replace it at no charge, even if you are not the original owner. No time limit applies and no warranty card is required.

Nikon has the same warranty as Leupold.

Yeah, I thought Nikon's was on par with Leupold's...
