When I first found those, I had to talk myself out of buying one.....for several days!!! Still looks very appetizing!! I think this would be a great choice for Trapper Zach!!

Oh yeah, Sorry T Z ,  I was thinkin' it would look good in my collection.LOL
Maybe, if I ever get my taxes done, I will have some to spend on a THING OR 2.  Only question, is this one gonna be the THING or the 2. LOL

Tim, how do the 270's do with the Cabelas bulk ammo?

Rich, haven't tried em, the only factory ammo I've shot in my .270s(3 of em now!!), are Fusion and Winchester, the rest have been handloads. But, I've read of lots of happy shooters using Cabelas bulk ammo.

My tax refund has done been spent on a new roof for my boat barn!!

When I buy a rifle, its gonna see lots of range time as that is the only place legal to shoot it down here in the lower half of Minnesota.  I have to travel a few hours north to hunt with it...
Winchester, your talking about the White Box Ammo, right?

130gr Ballistic Silvertips, but the Fusion 130gr shot just as good if not better and cost a lot less!

Yup, and they look real nice on my SB2 frame with the 12ga. 3 1/2 topper deluxe shot gun barrel.  Shot gun is easier to shoot with that style stock over the rifle stocks I had.

Zach, those only come from The Gunsource, their price is $209 + shipping and FFL transfer fee, the '06 barrel only w/iron sights from H&R would be about $160. The '06 isn't offered in the RSR version, unfortunately.

What does "RSR" stand for?

Where did they get that color of laminate stocks?

I would like to get the green camo laminate stocks that have the shotgun type butt stock.  Does anyone make those that are "drop in"?  Gunstocks, Inc makes them but you have to "finish" them.  What is involved in the "finishing" of a laminate stock?  How does one finish them?

The camo lam straight stock set is available from H&R, see the 2005 Retail Parts list in the FAQ.
