Cylinder Depth
« on: March 24, 2006, 10:10:02 AM »
Hey guys,
How deep is the cylinder on a DW 44 Mag revolver? I saw an ad for Double Tap 44 Mag ammo in a 320 gr bullet. It is 1.65 OAL. Would that fit? Just saw that and it got me curious.

Cylinder on my Monson Dan Wesson 44 Mag measures 1.759.  Dan Wessons, Ruger Redhawks (but not Blackhawks), and Taurus Raging Bulls are the only factory 44's recommended for Garretts longest and heaviest 44 Mag ammo.
